When can I enroll in a health plan?

ACA Marketplace plans have an annual Open Enrollment Period, but a qualifying life event like losing coverage, moving, marriage, or a new baby can open a Special Enrollment Period any time of year. Some private and supplemental plans can start year-round.

What is the difference between Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum plans?

Will my doctor and prescriptions be covered?

What if I do not qualify for a subsidy?

What is short-term health insurance?

Short-term medical is designed to bridge a temporary gap in coverage, for example between jobs or while waiting for other coverage to start. It is not ACA-compliant and may not cover pre-existing conditions, so Lisa will explain the trade-offs before you decide.
